Now is it in production? No I don't think it is. But that's not the problem. The problem is some goofball on a forum claiming 

It was pure concept 

Never left initial mock up 

Never tested 

Never designed 

Read the original forum. He changed his argument so many times.

I can't say it never existed, just there's little evidence.

Guys, a deeply unserious person. And this proves he's 100% biased. 

Want to argue it wasn't produced. Sure but there is plenty of evidence to show a Missile was designed and very probably tested. 

So first 

"It never left mock up"

This proves a model was designed. We even have the IIR head name 9-B-7738. 

Also have the MT version shown at 2010s shows. Probably a mock up but again he said it never progressed from the initial mock up.

Another point was about how there seemed to be two different seekers.

So in conclusion the Kh-38MT definitely was designed and at least Prototyped and offered for export and possibly exists as a combination IIR/SALH system, there's no evidence of Production. 

In war thunder there is numerous vehicles like 38MT that probably just existed as Prototypes and systems that never existed like Me264, E1000 and ho ris
